Natural Response – Psoriasis success story
I got the following letter recently from Dr. Steven Smith who founded Loma Lux Laboratories. He’d received it from a Tahoma Clinic client who wanted to let him know how his psoriasis responded to Loma Lux’s nickel bromide product, Psorizide Forte. Since we’ve covered this therapy several times before in Nutrition & Healing, it’s nice to get feedback from patients who have tried it:
Clinical Tip 123 – Protect your brain from the poison none of us can avoid
Even though researchers keep saying there’s no “proven” cause-and-effect relationship between aluminum and Alzheimer’s disease, you and I both know that aluminum can’t be good for your brain. So maybe you’ve stopped using deodorants containing aluminum. And you’ve probably quit using aluminum-containing cookware. Generally, my guess is you probably try to avoid aluminum as much as you can. And that’s a very good idea, since it really has no place in human metabolism.
How you can benefit from the future of herbal therapy
The term “standardized extract” gets thrown around a lot in herbal medicine. But there’s actually no set definition for it, so, in many cases, it means different things to different people. In fact, this is one topic that is really likely to spark a passionate response, whatever it might be, from most herbalists.
Department of “Duh” – Why public health authorities don’t want your old habits to die hard
When I’m not treating patients or writing Nutrition & Healing, one of the other “hats” I wear is board member at Harborview Hospital in Seattle. Harborview is the primary trauma center for Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Alaska, and once a month I meet with the rest of the board to go over the status of healthcare at the hospital and sometimes elsewhere in the region. A few months ago at one of these meetings, the representative from the local Public Health Department delivered her department’s routine monthly report and told us that despite a shortage of supply for this year’s flu vaccine, there was still enough available for those who “really needed it.”
Breakthrough magnet therapy speeds up your body’s healing power
Usually, I use this space to tell you about various vitamins, minerals, and herbs that can help you achieve optimal health. But some of the most impressive healing results I’ve come across lately didn’t have much to do with supplements. They came from a machine called a Magnetic Molecular Energizer, or MME.
