Vitamin C and beta carotene may help in Alzheimer’s prevention

Could these nutrients keep you Alzheimer’s-free?

Looking for a boost to your Alzheimer’s prevention plan?

New research published in the Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease reveals two nutrients that could help protect you.

The researchers found that in the early stages of Alzheimer’s, patients had lower levels of vitamin C and beta-carotene in their blood than did healthy people.

What that means is that these antioxidants could be a key in preventing Alzheimer’s. The researchers want to conduct more studies to confirm that vitamin C and beat-carotene could prevent the onset of Alzheimer’s, but these results are really promising. And when you consider the numerous other benefits offered by these nutritional superstars there’s really no reason to NOT add them to your supplement routine.

A daily dose of vitamin C can boost your mood and help you beat a cold. Beta-carotene can help reduce your cancer risk and plays a role in beating back age-related macular degeneration.

Of course, I’m always on the lookout for ways to boost brainpower and prevent Alzheimer’s disease. I’ll keep sharing them with you as I find them!
