Hold them down and roll up their sleeves

Earlier this month, I let you know that the mainstream press is worried about us. Why? Because we’re not getting in line and rolling up our sleeves for our flu shot.

Last year, only 29 percent of people aged 18 to 49 got the vaccine. Overall, about 42 percent of the population gave in to vaccination.

Luckily, no matter how hard they push, we still have a choice. Sadly, that’s not the case for health care workers in Colorado. And with these folks losing their health freedom–is ours next on the chopping block?

Last year, a full third of health care workers across the country decided not to get the flu vaccine. I’ve looked to those “in the know” folks as an example–I mean if they’re refusing the shot, it’s worth following their lead.

As the Alliance for Natural Health points out, the health care workers who refuse the flu shot do so because of several concerns. The flu shot still contains mercury, which has been linked to Alzheimer’s. It’s never been proven safe or effective. They’ve read the study that showed people who got the flu shot were more likely to be infected with H1N1 than people who skipped it. And they also know there are much safer ways to fight the flu, including immune-system boosters like vitamin D.

But in Colorado, these intelligent folks aren’t being trusted to make their own decisions based on their own research and observations. Nope–if they don’t get the shot by the end of this year, they’re fired.

Yes, fired. It’s like something straight out of an Orwell novel…either line up to have an iffy drug injected into your bloodstream, or lose your job.

But Big Pharma’s gotta make a buck. The really disgusting thing about this is that their money grab is being done under the guise of nobility. They want us to believe that “protecting” health care workers means “protecting” us all. But it’s really a frightening test for whether or not they’ll be able to take away the larger public’s rights.

And don’t bother to look to the government for help. How could you with a record like theirs? They just dumped $400 million into the hands of vaccine makers like Novartis and GlaxoSmithKline to keep pumping out drugs that will be used in “preparedness protection.” Despite numerous major concerns over the vaccine Gardasil, they took part in the development and then granted a license so that Big Pharma could make a BIG profit.

And they have even set up laws to protect manufacturers from lawsuits in the event of adverse reactions to vaccines. In cases when their “vaccine court” has actually decided in the favor of plaintiffs (including people whose lives were devastated by vaccines), it’s always been with the stipulation that the government denies that the death or injury was actually caused by the vaccine in question.

So what we have is a perfect storm in which Big Pharma comes out the major winner–and we all come out major losers.

No matter how they spin it, or how much they try to downplay the terrifying implications for our freedom, this is a civil rights attack, plain and simple. The hospital has already made allowances for people with medical reasons to avoid the shot: They can wear a mask. So why not extend that to all people who don’t want to be vaccinated?

Oh yeah–those paper masks don’t make Big Pharma any money, do they?
